Kozhikode: An open recruitment rally for enrolment into Army for male candidates from north Kerala will be held by the Army Recruiting Office, Kozhikode, at the DSC Centre Ground in Kannur from November 1 to November 6. The recruitment rally is meant for all north Kerala districts besides the Mahe and Lakshadweep. The rally is for recruiting soldiers in technical, nursing assistant, clerk/store keeper technical (SKT), general duty and tradesmen categories. Interested candidates may report at the venue at 5 a.m. Candidates for soldier (general), clerk/SKT, technical and nursing assistant from Palakkad and Kasaragod districts may report at the venue on November 1. Those from Kannur and Thrissur must report on November 2, from Malappuram and Wayanad on November 3, and Kozhikode, Mahe and Lakshadweep on November 4. Candidates for soldier tradesmen from Palakkad, Kasaragod, Thrissur, Kannur, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Malappuram, Mahe and Lakshadweep must report at 2 p.m. on November 4. Sons of servicemen, sons of Ex-servicemen, sons of war widows, NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders and outstanding sportsmen of national/State level for all categories from all north Kerala districts must report at the venue on November 6.
