VIJAYAWADA: Krishna district Joint Collector B. Ramaiah on Sunday said rice millers had agreed to sell five kg of rice on each white ration card at Rs. 18 a kg at all rice mills and at the special counters arranged at rythu bazar in the district. The millers would sell BPT and Sona varieties and it would be given only to the person whose photograph is pasted on the ration card. Mr. Ramaiah said millers also agreed to sell 25 kg of rice of the variety of Rs. 14 and Rs. 16 to white card holders.
