Fake cosmetics seized, two held

The City Task Force police on Sunday raided a house at Burma Camp and seized fake fairness creams, hair dyes and perfumes. In the raid conducted by SI Lakshmana Murthy, cosmetics worth Rs.40,000 were seized and two persons – T. Narasimha Swamy of Berhampore and Viky Lakwani were arrested.

The fake goods were packed using the names of some well-known brands.
