Varkey Vithayathil hospitalised

Kochi: Cardinal Mar Varkey Vithayathil from Kerala, who is in the Vatican for the canonisation ceremony of Sr. Alphonsa, is in hospital following a cardiac problem. The Cardinal, who left for the Vatican on October 4, complained of severe back pain and was taken to hospital, church sources here said. He has been advised rest. — PTI
