Kanpur: At least 65 people have been admitted to different hospitals in last 24 hours after the outbreak of diarrhoea, Chief Medical Officer said on Sunday. Chief Medical Officer, Subodh Tiwari has denied the reports of any casualties due to the outbreak of the disease. “Diarrhoea cases have been reported in some parts of the city due to dirty water supply and 65 patients have been admitted in different hospitals while others are being provided treatment at their houses,” he said. A medical camp has been organised in Chamnaganj and chlorine tablets are being distributed in the area. –PTI
