M.Phil Anthropology: Applications are invited for the M.Phil course conducted by the Anthropology Department on the university’s Thalassery campus. The basic qualification for admission is Kannur University’s MA Anthropology degree or equivalent degree approved by the university with no less than 55 per cent marks. There are four seats. Admission to the one-year course will be on the basis of an entrance examination and interview. Selected candidates should pay tuition fees of Rs.1,000 in addition to Rs.3,000 as special fees. SC/ST students will be given a concession of five marks. Application forms and other details will be available from the Head, Department of Anthropology, School of Social Sciences, University Campus, Thalassery 670661. A chalan of Rs.100 remitted in the university fund in State Bank of Travancore’s 102-005 head of account or in treasury head 8658-00-102-96(27) KUS should be attached with the requests for the application forms. Those who want application forms by post should also enclose a self-addressed 23 X 12 cm envelope with stamps affixed on it. The last date for accepting filled-in application forms is October 15.

M.Ed Examination: Second semester M.Ed examination will begin on November 7. Applications from candidates will be accepted till October 20.
