MANGALORE: The Regional Training College, promoted by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), will host a two-day seminar on “Agriculture produce enrichment, farm to palm through value addition” here from Monday. It will deliberate on the policy initiatives on agro processing, replicable models in agro processing, credit support for agro processing and role of corporate sector in agro processing and marketing, according to a release. S.K. Patnayak, Joint Secretary, Government of India and director of National Horticulture Mission, will deliver the key note address. B. Sambamurthy, chairman and managing director of Corporation Bank, will attend the inaugural function.The college has been training bank officers since 1984.
