VISAKHAPATNAM: The world-renowned Surabhi troupe, Sri Venkateswara Natyamandali from Hyderabad, will stage its popular dramas from Sunday to October 23 at the Kalabharati auditorium in Pithapuram Colony, daily from 7 p.m. The 65-member contingent, half of which are women, has arrived and is busy making arrangements for the grand gala show from the morrow, organised by Cultural Foundation in the city. It also has eight child artistes below ten years. The first drama on the cards is Mayabazaar to be staged on Sunday and Monday and again on the last two days -- October 22 and 23, according to Cultural Foundation’s managing trustee AVVS Murthy, more popular as Badangir Sai. Cinematic effectsAnother mythological drama Sri Krishnaleelalu will be staged on October 14 and 15, Jai Pathalabharavi on October 16 and 17, Balanagamma on October 18 and 19, Lavakusa on October 20 and Sri Sri Sri Pothuluri Veerabrahmamgari Jeevita Charitra on Oct. 21 before concluding with the popular Mayabazaar. On Monday, the show would be delayed slightly as it would be preceded by the inaugural function, Mr. Sai said.
