dangerous: The mini-truck that toppled on a car on Queen’s Road in Bangalore on Saturday. BANGALORE: A 30-year-old software engineer and four members of his family had a miraculous escape on Saturday when an overloaded mini-truck toppled on the car by which they were travelling. The accident occurred on Queen’s Road, close to M.A. Chinnaswamy stadium. The mini-truck was carrying commodities from the Yeshwanthpur RMC (Regulated Marketing Committee) Yard. Joseph Sahayaraj, a software engineer from Banaswadi, was driving the car towards Lalbagh. Mr. Sahayaraj, his wife , their two children and mother-in-law were also in the car that was moving alongside the mini-truck. About 100 metres from Minsk Square, the truck hit the left side of the car. “The car turned and the mini-truck toppled on the front windshield,” said Mr. Sahayaraj. The Cubbon Park Traffic police arrived at the spot and removed the mini-truck. They are on the lookout for the driver.
