‘Anandha Deepavali’ for 1,111 children

CHENNAI: Udhavum Ullangal, a public charitable trust, has made arrangements for 1,111 children from 21 different NGOs in the city to participate in the 11th edition of ‘Anandha Deepavali,’ a celebration, to be hosted by it.

Udhavum Ullangal has appealed to residents to contribute towards the celebration and make it a memorable Deepavali for the participating children.

A donation of Rs.100 would go towards one child’s sweet box and crackers.

A Rs.250-payment would go towards one child’s breakfast and lunch expense.

A donation of Rs.500 would go towards the Deepavali dress of a child and Rs.1,000 would take care of all the expenses for one child on that day.

The function will be held on October 12, at Dakshina Bharath Hindi Prachar Sabha, T. Nagar, Chennai.
