Driving schools to be set up in 43 ITIs

HYDERABAD: Driving schools will be set up in 43 ITIs in the State as there is demand for drivers from private companies. The decision to establish the driving schools as an immediate priority was taken by Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhar Reddy on Saturday while reviewing Rajiv Udyogasri -- a programme to train youth in various skills and make them suitable for different jobs -- with officials through a tele-conference at Kadapa. He said survey on need of drivers was conducted by National Academy of Construction.
