‘Ban communal bodies’

SHIMOGA: S. Bangarappa, Shimoga MP, said on Friday that communal organisations which were spreading communal hatred should be banned.

He was addressing a gathering after visiting the Sacred Heart Church here.

The former Chief Minister said that when organisations such as SIMI could be banned in the country why not communal forces such as Bajrang Dal and other outfits of the Sangh Parivar?

Yesu Rakshak Nathan, George Edaknath and leaders of the Christian community Philomenaraj, Rakesh D’Souza, Joseph Tellis, Chinnappa and member of the Shimoga Zilla Panchayat Tejappa and district unit secretary of the Samajwadi Party H.N. Honnappa were present.
