Garbage removed

CHENNAI: The Corporation has removed 1,500 tonnes of additional garbage generated daily in the city during the Ayudha Pooja celebrations. According to a release, it removed 4,114 tonne garbage on Tuesday, 4,025 tonnes on Wednesday and 4,205 tonnes on Thursday. Normally, the civic body collects around 3,000 tonnes of garbage daily.
