Uppara workers’ convention

BANGALORE: The Karnataka State Uppara Technical Society has organised a State-level Uppara workers’ convention in Bangalore on Sunday.

Addressing presspersons here on Friday, former president of the Karnataka State Uppara Community Association Suresh M. Lathur said that the convention, which would be inaugurated by H.N. Ananth Kumar, former Union Minister and MP, would discuss the various issues being faced by the community.

Several Ministers, including K.S. Eshwarappa and Katta Subramanya Naidu, were expected to take part in it, he said.
