Suman to join Deccan Chargers

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Ranji opener Tirumalasetty Suman will play for Deccan Chargers in the next edition of Indian Premier League, according to information here.

The hard-hitting batsman has been picked by the newly-appointed coach Darren Lehmann who monitored the selection matches at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium. Suman, like all new recruits henceforth, will be on contract initially for one year and it will be renewed based on his performances. The other Hyderabadi to be picked by the Chargers is wicketkeeper-batsman Abhinav Kumar. — Principal Corespondent
