Body of woman found

CHICKBALLAPUR: A 26-year-old woman was found murdered in Manchenahalli police station limits in Gauribidanur taluk of Chickballapur district on Thursday.

The police said the body of Rathnamma was found on agricultural fields near Kadabur. She had deserted her husband and was living with another man.

The police suspect that the man with whom Rathnamma had an affair could have strangled her.

The Manchenahalli police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the suspect.
