Change in load-shedding timings

KRISHNAGIRI: A new load-shedding schedule have been announced by the TNEB which will come into effect immediately. A release said, Krishnagiri town and surrounding areas with single phase connections will have power cut from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., and 12 midnight to 1.30 a.m.

Three phase connections will experience power cut from 1.30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. to 12 a.m.

For Two phase connections, load shedding timings will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The above schedule will come into force immediately in the following areas: M.C. School, Chinnakottapalli, Poosaripatti, Kallukurikki, Thandekuppam, P.G. Pudur, Veppanapalli, Madhepalli, Thadantharai, Thasekoundapatti, Kalingavaram, Puliarasi, Haravikundha, Pudumalai, Sambalpallam, Chinnaru, Kandagiri, Sulagiri, Krishnagiri Town, Krishnagiri Industrial Estate, TNHB, Collectorate, Paleganur, Alappatti, Sokadu, Ittikkal Agaram, Madhepalli, Pyanapalli, Pandharapalli, Gangasathiram, Nedumaruthi, Theertham, Neralagiri, Balavanapalli, Nallur, Koovathi, Mittapalli, Bellarampalli, Ulagam, Keernapalli, Kammanathotti, Sappidi, Kundukuralagiri and surrounding villages.

The following areas will experience load shedding for single phase from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. For three phase connections it will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 10.30 p.m. to 4.30 a.m. For two phase connections, it will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and 4.30 a.m. to 6 a.m. The areas are Kothalam, Kundangadu, Podaralli, Kuttikoundalur, Thottipallam, Mittapalli, Kapparthi and surrounding villages. Kurumpatti, Varattampatti, Karutharammpatti, Pukkampatti, Pallialli, E.G. Halli, Kakkundapatti, Moranaalli, Palamuplu and Thaliyur.
