Belgaum
Belgaum: The police on Wednesday rescued five girls and arrested two women allegedly engaged in prostitution. The police said here on Friday that the accused brought the girls to Belgaum promising them jobs. The girls were forced to stay in a lodge in the city. The police initiated action based on a tip off from a Mumbai-based women’s organisation. Further investigation is on. — Staff Correspondent
