Sialkot Stallions to represent Pakistan

Karachi: Sialkot Stallions will represent Pakistan in the inaugural Champions Twenty20 League cricket tournament in India in December after it defeated Karachi in the final of National Twenty20 Championship in Lahore.

Sialkot, led by national captain Shoaib Malik, notched up a narrow victory over Shahid Afridi-led Karachi at the Gaddafi Stadium on Wednesday. This was Sialkot’s third successive domestic Twenty20 title and Malik shone as a bowler in the final. — PTI
