Manoj, Shadab slam centuries

HYDERABAD: B. Manoj Kumar (172, 15x4, 4x6) and Shadab Tumbi (104, 13x4, 1x6) helped St. Peter’s High School record a 332-run win over Mahabodhi Vidyalaya in the Boost Cup u-16 cricket tournament here.

St. Anthony’s High School 136 for seven (Vishnu 57) lost to DAV Public School 137 for two (Kaushik 48 not out).

Mahesh Vidya Bhaavan 49 (Naresh four for three) lost to HPS Begumpet 51 for six (Srikanth four for 11).

Under-16 knock-out: Final: St. Patrick’s HS 158 (Nitesh 36, Bhanu 50, Adarsh Kulkarni four for 41) lost to St. Andrews 161 for one (Chaitanya Krishna 32, B. Anirudh 39 not out, G. H. Vihari 63 not out).

Sindhuja to lead

Sindhuja Reddy will lead Hyderabad in the south zone inter-state women’s cricket tournament to be held in Anantapur from October 10 to 16.
