Gladyson bags title

KOCHI: The Regional Sports Centre’s Gladyson Correya won the men’s title in the Ernakulam District table tennis championship at Udyogamandal.

The results (finals): Men: Gladyson Correya (RSC) bt Vysakh Ravi (RSC) 9-11, 8-11, 13-11, 11-9, 11-4. Youth boys: Vysakh Ravi (RSC) bt Sharath Raj (CPT) 12-10, 11-8, 11-7. Junior boys: Paul Albert (RSC) bt Ahlad Ajay (RSC) 10-12, 11-8, 12-10, 6-11, 11-8. Sub-junior boys: Vishal Dilawar (RSC) bt Kurien Kurien (RSC) 11-8, 11-13, 11-3, 10-12, 12-10. Arjun to lead

Kozhikode’s N.K. Arjun will lead the Kerala team in the forthcoming Vinoo Mankad Trophy South Zone under-19 inter-State limited-over cricket tournament at Visakhapatnam. Thiruvananthapuram’s Sachin Baby will be his deputy.
