Karunanidhi’s appeal to people

CHENNAI: Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi on Thursday reiterated his call for people of the State to come together under one front, overcoming their political differences.

Expressing his views through a work of poem, Mr. Karunanidhi referred to the messages of appreciation sent by members of the Norway Tamil Sangam and a London-based group of Tamil parliamentarians besides Member of Parliament and Sri Lankan Tamizharasu Party Senathiraja and representatives of the North America Tamil Sangam.

This had shown how the global Tamil community yearned for peace in the island-nation, he added. — Special Correspondent
