BJP open to tie-up with Chautala

Chandigarh: The BJP said here on Tuesday that it was open to tie-up with its former ally INLD and Haryana Janhit Congress led by former Congress MP, Kuldeep Bishnoi, for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections in the State.

Speaking to reporters, BJP’s co-incharge of Haryana affairs, Harjit Singh Grewal said, “We are open to the tie-up with anti-Congress parties including the INLD and the Haryana Janhit Congress.”

The INLD and BJP were allies until 2004 Lok Sabha polls and then parted ways.

Speculations have been rife that the two could again join hands ahead of the next Lok Sabha polls, but both parties have not publicly made any announcement to this effect so far. --PTI
