No feelers to KCR: Moily

Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI: Congress has ruled out the possibility of trying to bring back Telangana Rashtra Samiti into the United Progressive Alliance and reiterated that the party would go alone in the forthcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh.

Talking to The Hindu from Bangalore on Tuesday, AICC general secretary in-charge of AP M. Veerappa Moily reiterated Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s announcement that the party would go alone and contest in all the 294 Assembly seats. He made it clear that no feeler had been sent to KCR who had already announced his party’s tie-up with the Left.
