Breast cancer awareness drive

Coimbatore: Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Oncology and Research will release on October 11 a short film on breast cancer awareness.

Institute Director P. Guhan has said the students in Coimbatore, the Nilgiris and Erode district would join a drive to spread awareness among women on early detection of breast cancer.

They would distribute 1.5 lakh pamphlets among the public on October 18.

Dr. Guhan said college students had been lending tremendous support to this drive.
