Man run over by DTC vehicle

NEW DELHI: A DTC recovery van ran over a man in Patel Nagar here on Tuesday.

The accident took place around 2 p.m. when 26-year-old Bharat Kumar of Patel Nagar, going from Rajendra Nagar to Shadipur, got off a bus. A speeding DTC recovery van ran over him, the police said.

Bharat was taken to Deen Dayal Upadhayay Hospital where he was declared dead.

The bus driver is absconding.
