Thiruvasagam told The Hindu on Tuesday. The university had 147 centres all over India. The Vice-Chancellor had received complaints regarding discrepancies in collection of fee, distribution of study material, illegal sale of study material, centres accepting fraudulent school completion certificates, etc. ComplaintsThere were also complaints from students regarding contact / practical classes not being conducted regularly. To streamline the functioning of the centres and also ensure that a regular monitoring system was put in place, the committee would come into being.
