Big win for Vidya Mandir
CHENNAI: Vidya Mandir posted a convincing 118-run win over MSP Nadar (Dindigul) in the TNCA under-16 schools cricket tournament here on Monday.
The scores: Vidya Mandir 235 for six in 50 overs (M.A.M. Ganesh 70, Aashish Sri Krishna 55 not out, Aditya Arun 64) bt MSP Nadar (Dindigul) 117 in 39.2 overs (S. Karthick 33, Aditya Arun three for 27).
St. Bede’s ‘A’ 260 for three in 50 overs (Leonard Bruno 41, K. Bharath Shankar 88 n.o., B. Aprajith 66, G. Sri Varadhan three for 24) bt Mani HSS (Coimbatore) 94 in 31.3 overs (G. Srivaradhan 37, Jitender Scidanand four for 32, Gaurav Sharma three for zero).
