NTPP criticises TRS chief

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: The Nava Telangana Praja Party criticised TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao for forging an electoral alliance with the Left parties.

At a press conference here on Monday, NTPP senior leader E. Peddi Reddy said, it was unfortunate that a party lie TRS, with a single-point agenda for formation of separate State could tie up with the CPI(M) that was opposed to separate Telangana.

Accompanied by leaders Malyala Rajaiah and Narra Ravikumar, Mr. Reddy said, it was only proper that political parties that had Telangana on their agenda, elicit people’s opinion before announcing their stand.

“We cannot fall a prey to forces that placed electoral politics above other issues. The TRS move is tantamount to insult to the self-respect of the people of Telangana ”, he said, adding that Mr. Rao should re-consider his move.
