Land acquisition for Spices Park

A Correspondent

KATTAPPANA: The process of acquisition of 200 acres of land for the proposed Spices Park at Pachady near Nedumkandam in Idukki district will get a boost once the State government approves the modalities of giving compensation to the landholders who do not have proper title deeds.

According to officials, even though the land acquisition for the proposed collection and storage centre at Thodupuzha was delayed, the process will be speeded up after Cabinet approval. The Spices Board is keen to start the project as early as possible.
