Stalin to visit Karur

KARUR: All is set for the opening of the Kalaignar Arivalayam that is to house the headquarters of the DMK party here.

Local Administration Minister M.K. Stalin will declare open the building during his proposed visit to the town on October 13, according to DMK district secretary Vasuki Murugesan and MP K.C. Palanisamy.

They said that Mr. Stalin would declare open Kalaignar Arivlayam at Gouriparam here and the conference hall there has been named after Mr. Stalin himself. Two commemorative entrance arches were also to be erected in the vicinity.

The Minister is also expected to declare open new school buildings at Pasupatheeeswarar Girls higher Secondary School and disburse revolving fund and other credit to women self-help groups.
