DMK workers send telegrams to Manmohan

PUDUCHERRY: Activists of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam in Puducherry have sent more than 5,000 telegrams to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, seeking his “immediate intervention to stop the genocide of Tamils in Sri Lanka.”

Convener of the party’s Puducherry unit R.V. Janakiraman said on Monday that the telegrams were sent from the Central Telegraph Office.
