‘Ban TV in buses’

NAMAKKAL: The Anti-Corruption Awareness Movement has appealed to State Government to ban the television viewing in buses.
A press release from State Deputy President P. Veerappan said that the use of television in buses diverts the attention of the driver, which could lead to accidents.
Passengers were also forced to travel in noisy environment. This could lead to hearing problems.
Thefts
The incidents of stealing would also increase as the attention of the passengers remains on the television.
The Government should initiate steps to ensure safe travel to the passengers, according to the release.
