37-year-old gets electrocuted

HYDERABAD: A 37-year-old man was electrocuted at Suruchi apartment in King Koti on Sunday. This is the second such incident that was reported in the apartment since Saturday. G. Srisailam, an electrician and resident of Amberpet, was repairing a electrical water pump in the cellar when he got electrocuted. A helper Ravi escaped unhurt. On Saturday too, a security guard Ganesh Raj (35) who was trying to switch-on the water pump died when he came in contact with live wires. BJP legislator G. Kishan Reddy visited the spot and requested the apartment welfare association to pay compensation to the family members of Srisailam and Ganesh.

Two killed

In another incident, two persons were killed after the motorcycle on which they were travelling was hit by a car at Sainikpuri crossroads on Saturday night. The victims have been identified as Ramakrishna (24) and Nagaraju (24), both residents of Alwal.
