Renovated booth opened

Chennai: Commissioner of Police R. Sekar inaugurated the renovated police booth near the Mint Clock Tower at Old Washermenpet here on Sunday.

The Commissioner, who later inaugurated a special diabetic awareness medical camp in Royapuram, said that police personnel should take additional care when it comes to their health and emphasised the need for a proper diet and 30 minutes of daily exercise.

The smoking ban also applies to the cops and they should refrain from smoking not just in public places but also at home, he added.
