PR president busy with homework on issues

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Praja Rajyam president Chiranjeevi has asked fans and those wishing to meet him, prior to joining the party, not to come to the Jubilee Hills office till October 18. The break from attending office daily was necessitated because he needed to prepare himself for the nine-day road show from October 9.

He needs to do homework and acquaint himself with issues plaguing people, with special emphasis on problems facing tribals, who constitute 5.96 p.c. of the population in Srikakulam, 9.55 p.c. in Vizianagaram and 14.55 p.c. in Visakhapatnam. Since Sunday, Chiranjeevi’s days include extensive interaction with party experts who are closely following developments on various issues with specific focus on the three districts. A member of the party’s think-tank said some of the issues on which the PR president was reading up extensively related to the gross violation of the provisions of the Coastal Regulation Zone.
