Safe drinking water facilities inaugurated

Chennai: Mayor M. Subramanian inaugurated safe drinking water facilities for students of Thiruvalluvar Gurukulam Middle School and Chennai Corporation High School in Saidapet on Saturday. A similar facility was also inaugurated in Chennai Corporation High School in Kilpauk.

The facilities were sponsored by the Lions Club. About 1,200 students of Corporation School in Saidapet were also given footwear. The Mayor encouraged the students to imbibe the spirit of social service and give back to society when they grew up.
