Gang of dacoits busted; three arrested

Chandigarh: The Yamunanagar Police have busted a gang of dacoits by arresting three accused, Muraslin resident of Shivpuri B Colony, Sudesh alias Rinka resident of Amarpuri Colony and Kamal resident of Mandewari.

These accused were arrested on Saturday from a desolate ‘kothi’ built along the road in sector 18 of Yamunanagar while they were allegedly planning a dacoity in a ‘kothi’ in sector 18 part-II.

Two of their accomplices have escaped taking advantage of the darkness. They have been identified as Baldev resident of Mahirampur and Sonu alias Kala resident of Shivpuri B Colonyan official release said here on Sunday.

Cases have been registered against the accused under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and those of the Arms Act at Faraqpur police station in Yamunanagar district.
