Karat, Yechury for CPI (M) State executive meeting

HYDERABAD: CPI (M) general secretary Prakash Karat and polit bureau member Sitaram Yechury will attend the party’s State executive meeting here on Monday and Tuesday. State secretary of CPI (M) B.V. Raghavulu told media persons on Sunday that the meeting will review the political situation and the programmes of all parties in the State. Views expressed by the leadership of CPI, TRS and other parties recently would be taken into account.
The outcome of the discussions would be placed before the Central committee of CPI (M) which will meet at Kolkata from October 12 to 14. The strategy to be adopted by the party for elections in the State next year is likely to be given shape at the meeting, Mr. Raghavulu added.
