Nikhat Banu wins youth girls’ title

HYDERABAD: Nikhat Banu defeated K. Vidisha 11-4, 11-4, 11-4, 11-9 in the final to win the youth girls’ title in the State-ranking table tennis tournament here on Saturday.

JDC wins

Jagruthi Degree College team, comprising P. Praveen Prasad, C. Revanth Gopalakrishna, V. Laxmi Sandeep Naidu and D. Rohan, emerged champions in the Osmania University inter-college chess championship with 23 points.

Aurora Degree College (18.5) and Chatainya Bharati Institute of Technology (15) finished second and third respectively.
