Jewellery stolen

CHENNAI: Thirty sovereigns of gold jewellery and Rs.3,000 in cash were stolen from the house of a Sri Lankan national in MGR Nagar police station limits on Friday night.

Police said S. Selvashanthi (26) had gone to the airport to drop her brother. When she returned home, the front door was open and the valuables kept in the almirah missing.
