‘Ban religious conversions’

VISAKHAPATNAM: BJP leader M. Venkaiah Naidu has called for banning religious conversions for maintaining harmony.

Talking to media persons here on Saturday on the situation in Orissa, he said that he would be visiting the State on Sunday. Mr. Naidu quoted Mahatma Gandhi who had said in Harijan on November 5, 1935 that if he had the power to legislate, he would stop conversions.
