Fifth suspect surrenders

Chandigarh: A fifth person allegedly involved in the molestation and abduction of a German girl surrendered on Friday before a local court which sent him to two days in police custody and also extended the remand of four other suspects.

Sompal, who was absconding, surrendered in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Kanchan Mahi here.

The 20-year-old girl was abducted by five youths from the parking lot of a five-star hotel on Saturday night. PTI
