Dhaka Club posts win

NEW DELHI: Dhaka Club defeated Northern Railway 32-30, 21-25, 24-26, 25-21, 16-14 in a league match of the men’s section in the Sardar Gurbaksh Singh memorial volleyball tournament.

The results:

Men: Raj Rifle Centre bt Dhaka Club 22-25, 25-14, 26-24, 25-23; Northern Railway bt BSES 30-28, 25-19, 25-22; Dhaka Club bt Northern Railway 32-30, 21-25, 24-26, 25-21, 16-14; Raj Rifles bt SU Block, Pitampura 25-17, 25-21, 25-21; BSES bt CRPF 25-21, 17-25, 26-24, 25-19.

Women: Dhaka Club bt Janaki Devi Mahila College 25-23, 25-18; Janaki Devi Mahila College bt Maitreyi College 25-17, 25-21; Nawada Club bt Laxmi Bai Club 27-25, 25-17.
