Farmers to stage protest today

KOLAR: The Kolar taluk unit of the Karnataka Prantha Raitha Sangha has given a call to lay a siege to Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Circle Office here on Saturday to register its protest against erratic power supply in the district. Activists of the sangha campaigned in several places on Friday to mobilise the support of the people. “The power crisis reflects the inefficiency of the BJP Government in the State,” claimed Holur Shankar, taluk president of the sangha. — Staff Correspondent
