Seven injured in accident

TIRUPATTUR: Seven persons were injured when a mini-lorry in which they were travelling met with an accident at Chinna Ponneri on the foot of Yelagiri Hills on Thursday night.
According to the police, Hansar and his family members were coming to Ponneri on the lorry.
When the vehicle reached the check-post near the Yelagiri Hills, the driver lost control as the breaks failed.
Hansar, his sons Hansari (23), Mubharak (12), daughters Sahira (10) and Sagar (8) sustained grievous injuries.
Two more persons Mubharak (10) and Saleema (30) were also injured.
The driver fled the spot. The injured were admitted to the Government Hospital at Tirupattur.
