Inflation falls to below 12 per cent

New Delhi: Inflation fell marginally below the psychologically important 12 per cent for the first time in three months even as the Finance Ministry said the prices of 30 essential items have gone up on weekly basis. Inflation declined by 0.15 per cent to 11.99 per cent during the week ended September 20 from 12.14 per cent a week earlier. — PTI
