Naxalites blast cell phone towers in Bihar
Aurangabad (Bihar): CPI (Maoist) rebels blasted four towers of cellular phone service operators at Erauri and Ketki in Aurangabad district late on Thursday night, police said on Friday.
More than 75 naxalites detonated cane and petrol bombs to blow up a tower each of Reliance and Airtel at both the places, Superintendent of Police Ganesh Kumar said. Fifteen villagers were injured in clashes with the naxalites when they resisted their bid, Mr. Kumar said. The injured were admitted to a hospital at Deo where their condition was stated to be stable . — PTI
