Ashwin, who claimed five wickets for 31 runs, were the standout performers for TNCA on the second day of the inter-State South Zone under-22 cricket match against Goa for the P. Ramachandra Rao Trophy on Thursday. TNCA made 406 in its first innings. Badal scalps sixLeft-arm spinner Badal Singh claimed six for 136 for Goa. Goa was struggling at 103 for seven at stumps. The scores: Kerala 124 & 97 for five in 34 overs vs Hyderabad 263 in 83.3 overs (Akshath Reddy 94, Tejo Ganesh 45, Sreejith four for 48). KSCA 372 in 121.3 overs (K.B. Pawan 166, Ganesh Satish 107, D. Shivakumar four for 59) vs Andhra 222 for three in 57.2 overs (V. Sandeep 64, B. Sumanth 57 batting, A.G. Pradeep 63). TNCA 406 in 129.5 overs (L. Suryapprakash 85, Abhinav Mukund 56, V. Maaruthi Raghav 120, K.H. Gopinath 42, Badal Singh six for 136) vs Goa 103 for seven in 48 overs (R. Ashwin five for 31).
