Fake currency racket busted

A three-member gang allegedly involved in the circulation of counterfeit currency notes was busted by the City Task Force police at Lankelapalem on Thursday.

CTF SI K. Anand Reddy said the accused persons were held while they were in possession of fake notes at Lankelapalem junction. Fakes notes of the value of Rs.57,100 were seized from them.
